Madre del interno denunci\u00f3 el hecho, que origin\u00f3 un sumario interno y una investigaci\u00f3n por parte de la Fiscal\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Por ofrecer protecci\u00f3n a un reo a cambio de 30 millones de pesos, fue formalizado ante la justicia un funcionario de Gendarmer\u00eda que prestaba servicio en la c\u00e1rcel de Punta Arenas.
La causa lleg\u00f3 a tribunales luego de la investigaci\u00f3n desarrollada por la Fiscal\u00eda tras ser denunciada por la madre del propio afectado, dando cuenta de hechos que se remontan a junio de 2016 cuando -de acuerdo a la acusaci\u00f3n del Ministerio P\u00fablico- el gendarme R.M.M. ofreci\u00f3 a un interno protecci\u00f3n y algunos beneficios relacionados con el ingreso de objetos desde el interior. Se agreg\u00f3 que, posteriormente, le habr\u00eda propuesto lo mismo a familiares del mismo interno (un hombre que cumple condena por femicidio frustrado).
Un mes despu\u00e9s, siempre de acuerdo a los antecedentes de la Fiscal\u00eda, el mismo gendarme se contact\u00f3 con la madre del interno para ofrecer protecci\u00f3n a cambio de 10 millones de pesos. Posteriormente, aument\u00f3 su \u00aboferta\u00bb a $ 30 millones.
En base a lo anterior, y tras un sumario interno en Gendarmer\u00eda, el Ministerio P\u00fablico pidi\u00f3 para el funcionario dos a\u00f1os de reclusi\u00f3n menor, siete a\u00f1os de inhabilitaci\u00f3n de cargos p\u00fablicos y una multa ascendente a m\u00e1s de 20 millones de pesos.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
